The KOVTUN® Company -- in 1994 V. P. Kovtun, a teacher of physics at one of the leading institutions of higher learning in Georgia, Russia, Tbilisi State University (founded in 1918), introduced a manuscript written by Kont (Count) Walewski, entitled "The System of Caucasian Yoga," which was extremely popular in Tbilisi in the seventies. The manuscript showed the process of making cylindrical-shaped rods used in Ancient Egypt. Professor Kovtun decided to manufacture these rods, under the Trademark of "The Cylinders of Pharaoh." The company began gathering information, enlisting the help of Egyptologists and historians at The State Hermitage, the Museum of Anthropology and Ethnography and the State Russian Museum. Famous Petersburg artists and sculptors joined the project. According to the company's public relations specialist, Dr. Svetlana Gorbunova (Saint-Petersburg State University), Egyptian Rods and the Pyramids contain the technology to strengthen the whole human organism, activating its healing powers and allowing faster evolution of its psycho-physical abilities.
