DEIRDRE J. MILLER has enjoyed a successful career spanning three decades, crossing a variety of fields, including owning her own resume consulting business. Before her most recent endeavor, Life Without Limits, she held the position of executive assistant to the vice president for development and alumni relations at a private, four-year liberal arts college. In this position, she assisted the VP through a five-year capital campaign responsible for working with the annual fund, planned and major giving, corporate, foundation, and government relations, and alumni relations. The development office is instrumental in driving the establishment of strategic plans and educational initiatives.
Before this period, Deirdre was the program administrator for a theater institute for four years. There, she dealt with all admission matters including: student interviews, applications, financial aid and student counseling. The institute is a two-semester intensive theater training program, where students transfer for one semester from their home college, and is part of a 12-college exchange program.

Deirdre's avocation is the theater, writing and healing. She is a certified Reiki Master/Teacher and Practitioner, with membership in the International Society of Reiki Professionals. She has received awards for both acting and backstage support and has had two of her poems published in Poetic Voices of America, 1988 and The Best Poems and Poets of 2002. Together with her brother and sister, she is the founder/director of The Reg and Joan Moignard Scholarship Fund -- a scholarship in memory of her parents, which is awarded to high school students planning to major in theater. She also owns her own web site, SpiritLight at Home, in which she offers spiritual healing and counseling, together with a monthly newsletter.
