the road ahead
posted 1/1
"The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And wither then?
I cannot say."
~ J.R.R. Tolkien
it is a new year
and with it
will come
surprises
for each
new day...
nobody knows
where
the road ahead
will take us...
but it is necessary
to go forward
no matter what...
with hope
and love
in our
hearts...
as ever
and always...
my prayer
for you all
is for many
blessings
throughout
this new
year...
may you be
full of
hope
love
good health
and
through
the
grace
of god
at peace...
may
all
your
dreams
come
true!
with love,
serendipity

ever notice how
when you look
for something
you find
other things...
things
perhaps
you weren't
looking for
but were
meant to see?
here's an example...
i change the quote
i have on there
now and again...
today a new one...
the space between yesterday
and today is filled
with acceptance,
forgiveness,
and remembering
to laugh.
there was no credit
listed for this quote...
so i went googling
to look it up...
i found this page...
with the following
entry...
There are certain moments
that are just right.
For me, one of those times
happens almost every morning.
It's the space between arriving
at the office and starting my work day.
I always try to take at least fifteen minutes
just to think.
Sometimes I write.
Sometimes I pray.
Sometimes I just sit here.
It always involves coffee
and usually some quiet music,
often also a bit of breakfast.
In those moments
I am more focused than
probably at any other time in the day.
I sense that the world is bigger than me.
I affirm intellectually, spiritually
and emotionally that I truly believe
that God is real.
And as I clear my mind
and realize all that happened
in the previous day
and all that could happen
in the day to come,
it all comes together.
Of course, it blows my mind
and I can hardly comprehend
the complexity of these truths.
But I don't feel that I have to
understand everything about life
to believe in a greater reality, beyond me.
So I thank God this morning
for those moments.
And I hope you have them too,
at least every once in a while.
For me it's coffee, music
and a little something to eat.
What is it for you?
i like joel's' thoughts
they resonated
with me...
i followed another link...
from joel's page...
to some of
his favorite music...
i love owen's music
and his insightfulness...
thank you for your
thoughts,
the inspiration
joel and owen
and for my few
moments of
reflection
and
relaxation!
so here is
for your enlightenment
also...
are we really
who we think we are?
serendipity?
maybe?
you be the judge...
